We will be celebrating our 20th on the 11th of May!
We would like to extend the invitation to as many of customers as possible to attend and participate. We will be raising money to support Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation with $2.00 barbecue sandwiches and $.20 drinks, and of course any donations anyone cares to make!
We will also be holding a contest to see who can impersonate our owner Jerry the best, since everyone tried to mimic him when ordering! Stick around for a corn hole game, and other events all day with live music and DJ!
Note: The restaurant will not be open for dine-in at all on May 11th. Events will start at 10:00am and end at 3:00pm. We are really looking forward to seeing you all there!!!
It all started when I was a young child helping my grandpa cook BBQ. My grandpa, "Quillie" Gray of Snow Hill, NC was pretty well known for his barbecue. Growing up with grandpa I learned that time and patience are the first ingredients for good barbecue.
Grandpa Quillie and I talked of one day opening our own barbecue house.
Unfortunately, grandpa passed away before this ever happened. Opening Ole Time Barbecue became a quest for me. After several years of banks telling me no, I was in the right place at the right time. Ole Time Barbecue opened May 10, 1993 and we still love it to this day.
We have worked hard to keep Grandpa's Ole Time traditions in our food and service. Thank you for helping to make a dream come true.
Sincerely,
Jerry Hart
